Andrew V. Cobbe (email@example.com) is a Florida native who received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law center, and his Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from the Florida State University. Mr. Cobbe entered the legal field after nearly a decade in the construction industry, beginning as a laborer and spending time as both a superintendent and project manager, ultimately serving as the primary qualifier for a general contracting and development firm. Mr. Cobbe holds both Certified General Contractor and Certified Roofing Contractor licenses in the state of Florida.
Mr. Cobbe is member of the Florida Bar, admitted to practice in all state Courts, as well as the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Cobbe is a member of the Broward Bar Association, the Solo/Small Firm Section, and is the co-chair of the Construction Law Section for the June 2016-June 2017 term. He is also a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the ABA Forum on Construction Law, the Construction Association of South Florida (CASF), the CASF Young Leaders, as well as Florida Design and Construction Professionals.
As a law student Mr. Cobbe received the High Grade Award in Civil Procedure and Florida Land Development Workshop. Mr. Cobbe was chapter president of the Federalist Society at Nova and attended the Student Leadership Conference in Washington DC. He began working with Kevin J. Taylor as a law clerk as a law student.
Mr. Cobbe lives in Fort Lauderdale with his wife, Monica, who is also an attorney and are members of Saint Anthony Parish.
