Mary A. Cooper (firstname.lastname@example.org) is a South Carolina native who was admitted to the Florida Bar. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Florida International University College of Law, her Post-Baccalaureate Paralegal Certification from the University of North Carolina, and her Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina.
While in law school, Ms. Cooper was a member of the Black Law Student Association and the Christian Legal Society. In addition, she interned with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida in West Palm Beach, Florida, Brevard County Attorney’s Office in Viera, Florida, and Florida’s Juvenile Resentencing and Review Project at Florida International University College of Law in Miami, Florida.
Prior to joining Kevin Taylor Law, Ms. Cooper was Law Clerk at a South Florida based construction company, assisting with the bidding process for government projects, drafting and negotiating subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with all contracts, assisting with disputes on contracts, and drafting human resource related documents.
In addition to her position at Kevin J. Taylor, P.A., Ms. Cooper is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Court Mediator.
